Watch & Dine Cinema introduces monthly packages for patrons

Just when people thought the culture of cinemas was ebbing away, Watch & Dine Cinema stepped into the fray with fun-packed activities for movie lovers.

Located at the Kumasi Mall in the Ashanti Region, the Watch & Dine Cinema has introduced a monthly package for specific target groups.

August – Religious Month

In August, movie tickets were massively discounted to attract the religious community as part of the Eid-ul Adha festivities.

During the religious month, there were specific movies showing to mark the occasion. Tickets were sold at extremely discounted prices for persons who went to see the movies.

The discounts made it possible for lots of families to come out and watch the movies and spend time together.

The days of boredom and constriction of religious bodies at secular locations is over – now, they have an alternative source of entertainment.

September – Akwaaba Movie Night

September is being dedicated to ‘freshers’ of the various Senior High and tertiary institutions. Called the Akwaaba Movie Night, tickets were sold for as low as GHc 10.

On Friday September 7, 2018, ‘Insomnia Movie Night’ was organised with the first years being able to watch any movie until daybreak.

A similar event has been planned for the continuing students on September 14 called the ‘Back to School Movie Insomnia.’

Movies showing are The Nun, Crazy Rich Asians, Peppermint and the yet-to-be-released Predator, which will be out on the same day.

Watch & Dine has set September as the month for students so any student with an ID can enjoy huge movie ticket discounts.

The Cinema has partnered Studxpress, a students SRC group who ensures that students enjoy good discounts with companies that have high student patronage.

All studxpress holders are currently entitled to a discount of 10%

October – Workers’ Month

The Watch & Dine Cinema has a special package for corporate bodies, small-scale enterprises and petty traders.

The cinema encourages companies to put a smile on the faces of their clients by rewarding them with W&D gift vouchers.

Hotels, banks, and mobile phone companies are encouraged to patronise this awesome gesture to make their clients feel special.

Apart from appreciating clients, the companies can also reward their outstanding staff or workers with the W&D gift vouchers.

November – W&D Customers’ Month

To cap it all, W&D Cinema, for the love of its clients would want to make them feel special.

In November, there are plans to give out movie passes as rewards to their customers.

Movie lovers will be rewarded with such passes to enable them to watch more movies but make it more affordable in a month.

This is the first time a movie theatre in the sub-Saharan is taking such an initiative.
