Fastline Concept thrills audience with maiden edition of Praise360

Accra, Aug 20, GNA – Hundreds of gospel music
lovers were thrilled with wonderful performances at the maiden edition of “Praise360”
at the the St Kizito Catholic Church in Nima, over the eekend.

The event, which would be an annual concert
for Christians to celebrate God, was put together by Fastline Concept, a
budding multimedia company.

Almost everyone in the audience could not to
sit to great performances from both the renowned and the upcoming gospel
musicians.

The maiden edition of Praise360 saw wonderful
performances from Opiesie Esther, Diana Hopson, Hannah Marfo, Deacon Sammy
Baah, as well as underground acts such Matilda Teng, Priscilla Kumah, Church
Boy, Nana Asiamah and Matilda Agyemang.

According to the orgainsers, the brain behind
the program was to nurture and help put underground gospel artistes into the
limelight.

Mr. Livingston Ocloo, the Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) of Fastline Concept said that, as part of the company’s vision to
promote underground artistes, they needed to give such artistes the opportunity
to share the sane platform with the big artistes to bring them into the
limelight.

“Gospel music travels far and it is
through the gospel music that the souls out there who doesnt know Christ can
get to know him and be saved. We have a vision to promote the underground
gospel musicians and this forms part of what want to achieve it.

“We want the underground artistes to
experience the same stage with the top notch artistes so that they get the
confidence that they can also make it,” he said.

Veteran musician, Diana Hopson commended the
organisers for “bridging the gap” between the the experience and
inexperience musicians by putting them on the same stage.

She added that, it was important for
Christians to praise their maker and admonished that more of such programs was
needed.

She said, underground gospel musicians should
feel free in getting closer to some of them for mentorship.

Matilda Agyemang, one of the underground
artistes who performed at the event said it was a privilege for her to perform
on the same stage with some of the musicians she admired when growing up.

 She
appealed for more of such events and support of any kind to the underground
artist to help them realise their full potentials.
