The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong has warned the Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul-Malik Kwaku Baako, to stop defending the investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas because it will end up in disgrace.

According to New Patriotic Party (NPP) maverick MP, Mr. Baako, who happens to have mentored Anas Aremeyaw Anas, will forsake his ‘award-winning investigative journalist’ tag by the time he [Ken Agyapong] is done exposing him and so it will be better for him to stop defending Anas.

Mr. Ken Agyapong gave the warning while speaking on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Badwam” on Tuesday, monitored by PrimeNewsGhana.

He said Kweku Baako should stop defending investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, because Ghanaians are already aware of their ‘wicked’ dealings.

Referring to the investigative Journalist as “corrupt, evil and wicked”, the outspoken lawmaker said, Mr. Baako should stop defending the entrapment methodology Anas employs in his undercover journalism practice.

Mr. Agyapong has been hard on Anas Aremeyaw Anas ever since he premiered his #12 investigative piece which implicated several football administrators, including the then President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The vociferous Member of Parliament returned from his international trip to premiere “Who watches the watchman” on Wednesday, June 27 at the forecourt of Oman FM, at Madina in Accra.

The video was the MP’s own version of secret recordings of how ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, operates undercover.

The last place the video was shown was Kumasi in which thousands of people thronged the Jubilee Park in Kumasi to watch the documentary, ‘Who watches the Watchman’.

The decision followed complaints by residents of Kumasi and its environs over their inability to watch the documentary.

PrimeNewsGhana has been informed that the documentary will soon be shown in other parts of the country.
