Accra, July 11, GNA – Mr Hay Yartey, Chief
Executive Officer of Kasoa based, Division Two side, Cheetah FC has said, they
are noted for producing quality players, hence the regular call ups of their
players into the junior national teams.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF)
license B holder, said in an interview with the GNA Sports, that his eye for
quality players and ability to scout the length and breathe of the country for
quality players, has been the club’s major achievement.
“I love football, so I invest a lot of time
into it. I travel to very remote parts of the country to scout for young
talents who can fit into my club’s philosophy.
“At Cheetah FC, we have a philosophy to
produce quality and exceptional players, young lads who are very disciplined
and ready to listen and work hard.
“I give these boys the best of man-management,
so it’s just a reward that constantly some players from my club get call ups to
the junior national teams” he added.
According to Mr Yartey, he believes and hope
that his three players who have been called up for the national U-17 camp would
excel and make Ghana proud.
“I have hope and belief in the technical
handlers of the junior teams. I am sure the training and treatment, would
propel them to greater heights.
“Looking at the criteria, the technical team
used in selecting players for the team, I can confidently say that my boys
would always make me and the entire Cheetah FC family proud.
