If you have not been following The Sharks Quiz on GH One, you’ve missed out greatly. The quiz has a unique format which tests all round scholars from public and international schools on Science, Math, English and General Knowledge.
This Saturday, two top Accra rivalry, Presec – Legon and St. Thomas Aquinas will be competing against each other at the semi-final stage of the competition.
The journeys of these two schools in the lead up to the semifinal have been unpredictable yet thrilling. While Presec, Legon edged out British International School and Ghana National College at the first and quarterfinal rounds; St. Thomas Aquinas narrowly beat Pope John Snr High in the first round and demolished Mfantsiman Girls in the quarterfinal.
It is on record that St. Thomas Aquinas has been a thorn in the flesh of Presec,Legon lately, beating their rivals at last year’s Science and Math Quiz and also the International Moot Court.
Expectations on which school will make it to the final and meet Ghana International Christian High are building up immensely. Will it be the Old Toms or the Blue Magicians who will make history as the first public school in the final of The Sharks Quiz?
So on Saturday morning, why don’t you stay glued to your seats and cheer your favorites on to victory as they earn the bragging rights of being called “The Sharks” of the day. It’s anyone’s game, if you ask me.
