No room for negotiations; we can’t work for you anymore – Ntim’s former Campaigners

Former campaign coordinators for National Chairman hopeful for the New Patriotic Party, Stephen Ntim say they are not open for further negotiations with the aspirant after ditching his campaign yesterday.

According to them, it’s an end of the road for them, as they are unwilling to partner Ntim in his course anymore although they described the move as a “painful and difficult decision.”

Speaking on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM Monday, one of the disgruntled campaigners, Osman Zakariya cited Ntim’s disloyalty to them as one of the reasons for their decision withdrawing from his campaign.

“It borders on ethics; personal principles. We’ve worked for him, since 2014, unfortunately he didn’t win. We still remained committed to his course, it’s not about resources” Zakariya told host kwaku Owusu Adjei.

The National Chairman hopeful Stephen Ayesu Ntim has been dealt a devastating blow as three of his campaign coordinators in the three Northern Regions have resigned.

Mohammed Iddi Kpemsi and Shiraz Anass  who are his coordinators for the Northern Region, Abu Ibrahim Tony for the Upper West Coordinator and Osman Zakariya  for the Upper East Regions in a joint statement accused him of having no good message for the party which informs their decision to resign from canvassing for votes for him.

“As his Campaign Managers for these Regions, we have realized that Mr. Ntim has no campaign message that will win him the Chairmanship.  The messages and his campaign style is immoral, divisive and insulting to senior Members of the party.”

Meanwhile, Pollster Ben Ephson says the development is a big dent on the Stephen Ntim campaign and most likely he’ll lose out on his bid for the fourth time.

“This has put Freddy Blay in the driving seat, but lets see what happens; it will be one of the surprises if Freddy Blay loses, because with politics anything can happen.”
