A pupil at a Junior High School at Oblogo in the Weija/Gbawe Municipality in the Greater Accra Region has been confirmed dead.

This was after a vehicle allegedly speeding rammed into the primary school killing the pupil instantly.

Weija District MTTD Commander, ASP Ebenezer Donkor confirmed this to Adomonline.com Wednesday.

He said one other pupil who sustained severe injuries is currently receiving treatment at the Weija government hospital.

Three other vehicles a splinter bus and two taxi cap with registration number GW 5249-14 and AS 3410-S were badly damaged when the vehicle tried to avoid hitting the children.

Narrating the incident to the news team, an eyewitness said the driver was driving on high speed

“The vehicle came from that side, the driver first stopped at the boutique then later moved on top speed behind me blowing his horn, so I veered off the road to give him way. He parked behind me and the next thing I saw was that he’s moved at top speed again only to run into the school children killing some at the spot,” he narrated

According to him the car then run into a shop on the side of the road.
