Buffalo kills hunter who shot one of animal in its herd

A professional hunter lost his life in front of a group of horrified people after being gored by a buffalo.

54-year-old Claude Kleynhans ran a company called Guwela Safari in South Africa, where hunters pay to shoot giraffe, zebra buffalo, hyena, hippo, and elephant.

The trophy hunters were allowed to take the carcasses with them for an additional fee.

One day, while he was out hunting in Limpopo, Kleynhans, a father of 3 children and his group shot a buffalo.

As he loaded the carcass onto his vehicle, a large male buffalo from the herd ran towards Kleynhans and hit him.

The buffalo tore Kleynhans’ femoral artery and he died at the scene.
