Kwame Aplus2A Plus has seven days to retract and apologise to Asenso-Boakye

Fresh trouble is brewing for musician, Kwame Asare-Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A Plus, as he has been served another notice to retract and apologise over a series of corruption allegations against a Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye.

A demand notice issued on Wednesday, June 30, 2018 and signed by Samson Lardy Anyenini of A-Partners@Law, Solicitors of Mr. Asenso-Boakye, have given the musician seven days within which he has to withdraw malicious publications he authored against their client.

This comes after a similar action by Gary Nimako, lawyer for Communications Minister, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful who has also demanded same action from the musician.

But an unmoved A Plus in a response on Facebook Monday, called the Minister’s bluff: “…I’m not afraid of anyone. Not a single soul. I’m wild like a lion!!! Bring it on. You’ll be humiliated.”

Hours later, another notice of a possible legal action on behalf of Mr. Asenso-Boakye, has been served on the entertainer, who is also a known activist of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Your written retraction and apology, which must be delivered within 7 days from the date first above, must be given the same publicity and prominence as the defamatory claims and must be unequivocal, unconditional and subject to the prior approval of our client and his Solicitors.

“We have firm instructions to, without further notice to you and upon your failure, neglect or refusal to fully satisfy our client’s demands herein, take out a suit and hold you, and such as are carelessly and maliciously repeating the false claims, liable.

“Be advised accordingly,” the notice demanded.
