Wa KotokoKotoko drew 1-1 with Liberty Professionals in Dansoman

Week 14 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League was not drama-free as five penalties were recorded in two of the six matches played on Wednesday.

Three penalties were awarded to Medeama in their 4-1 win over Wa All Stars in Tarkwa.

They were put away by midfielder Kwesi Donsu in the 14th, 40th and 95th minutes with the other goal scored by Kwame Boateng in the 33rd minute.

All Stars got their consolation through Richard Arthur in the 49th minute.

The rest of the day’s spot kicks were shared by Liberty Professionals and Asante Kotoko at the Karl Reindorf Park when the teams drew 1-1.

Former Kotoko player, Edwin Tuffour scored for Liberty in the 14th minute but 8 minutes later, he was he guilty party as he fouled Amos Frimpong in the penalty box. Frimpong picked himself up to score to level the score.

AshGold recovered from their Week 13 loss to Dwarfs to beat Dreams FC 1-0 at the Len Clay Stadium thanks to a goal from Shafiu Mumuni.

Goals from Benjamin Owusu and Abdul Fatawu Salifu helped Techiman Eleven Wonders beat Berekum Chelsea 2-0 while WAFA and Karela drew 1-1 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.

Musah Nuhu gave WAFA the lead in the 55th minute but William Mensah scored in the 93rd minute for Karela.

On Thursday, Inter Allies host Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars welcome Bechem United to complete Week 14.
