Let Nana B or Dominic step down – Wontumi to Awuku

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Wontumi has urged the outgoing National Organizer of the party, Sammy Awuku to impress upon either Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B to step down for Dominic Eduah or vice- versa ahead of the National Youth Organizer elections.

According to him, whoever steps down for the other should be appointed a deputy National Organizer when Sammy Awuku who’s running unopposed for the National Organizer position is eventually elected.

“Both Nana B and Dominic are Sammy Awuku’s charges, the little advice I have for him is that he should ensure that one steps down for the other ahead of the polls and promise that when he becomes the National Organizer he’ll impress upon the party to make that person his deputy, while the other remains the Youth Organizer. Both of them competing each other is not necessary,” Wontumi said on Okay FM Monday.

According to Chairman Wontumi, both Nana B and Dominic are dedicated and hardworking young men whose election or appointment to such high party position will spur them on to give off their best in ensuring the NPP wins election 2020.

With a month to go for the National Youth Organizer elections which is slated for June 2018, the race promises to be keenly contested as the candidates are trying very hard to outdo each other.

Sammy Awuku an inspirational and charismatic youth leader has left the position for the National Organizer office moving high up to the National Organizer position.

He was instrumental in the then opposition NPP’s operations has been credited with building a formidable, but radical youth group that led the NPP campaign into the 2016 elections.
