President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and former President John Agyekum Kufuor together with other Ministers of State today, Thursday, 24 May 2018 joined the family of the late lawyer and New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart Akenten Appiah Menka to pay their last respect to the deceased.
Late Akenten Appiah Menka’s burial and funeral rites took place at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) in Kumasi.
The remains of the late businessman will be conveyed to his home town, Aboabugya for burial.
Mr. Appiah Menka was described in a tribute by the Ashanti Regional Minister as a patriotic leader who served he nation with “honesty and integrity.”
The late politician, aged 84 died Tuesday, 13 February 2018.
He left behind a wife and 13 children
