Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has been included in the English Premier League relegated best XI squad – a list which is made up of Swansea City, Stoke City and West Brom.

All the aforementioned clubs endured miserable top-flight campaigns, churning through seven managers between them as they hurtled towards the second-tier league.

However, despite abject season for Swansea City, Jordan Ayew’s name found his way in the list of players who managed to stand out in the scrap for survival.

The skillful forward will be disappointed with the Swans’ performance but will be delighted with his overall display during the campaign.

It’s no fluke that the 26-year-old swoop every available award during their end of the season honuoring party. He finished the season as their top scorer with 11 goals in all competitions.

Ayew is unlikely to go down with them in the Championship after reports linking him to Liverpool emerged in the tabloids last week.

Swansea finished the season on 18th spot with 33 points after 38 games.
