Ghanaian defender, Dennis Odoi
Belgian born Ghanaian defender Dennis Odoi scored the decisive goal as Fulham made it to the final of the promotion game for the English Premier League.
Dennis Odoi scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over Derby County to record a 2-1 victory in the playoffs semifinal.
Teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon opened the scoring in the 46th minute to level the tie on aggregate before the former Lokeren striker added the second in the 66th minute.
Aleksandar Mitrovic and Aboubakar Kamara had chances to add further goals, as the Rams created little.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s side – beaten play-off semi-finalists last season – will play either Aston Villa or Middlesbrough in the final on Saturday, 26 May.
Having struggled to break down Derby in the first leg, Fulham demonstrated why they are unbeaten at home since October with a display full of flowing, attacking the football.
Fulham will be making it to Wembley for the first time in 43 years, where the face the winner of the game between Aston Villa and Middlesborough.
The 29-year-old lasted full throttle of the game.
Odoi has made 42 appearances in all competitions and scored 2 goals for the Cottagers in the ongoing campaign.
