Former President John Dramani Mahama says God will appoint someone to lead the main opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) to battle in the 2020 polls.
“God himself will choose someone to lead us. And I know that when that person is selected, by the grace of God, we will be victorious in the 2020 election.” he told party supporters in Kumasi on Saturday, 28 April 2018, during the party’s Unity Walk.
The former President, John Mahama is yet to declare his candidature for the presidency in 2020, although he’s very active on campaign platforms of the opposition party.
For him[Mahama], the party’s restructuring and healing process is his focus now, ensuring that the NDC could overcome the shocks from the last election and win the next polls.
