Every VGMA aftermath is followed by some sort of dissatisfaction and squabbles.
Well you can call this a baby beef but the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa has responded to the claims of the king of Northern Music, Fancy Gadam over the winner of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2018 new artist of the year.
Few days ago Tamale based hiplife artiste, Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam, stated in an interview that Patapaa Amisty is not a talented artiste but a joker.
According to him, he’ll not waste his time doing a collaboration with Patapaa. Yesterday on Entamoty live show with Barimah Amoaning Samuel on Class 91.3fm, Patapaa bitterly replied Fancy Gadam halfway through his interview on the youth show.
“Who is Fancy Gadam? I don’t even know him, had it not be Sarkodie who would have heard of his song? My song was everywhere and was on the lips of everyone around the globe, if we say talent, talent is not about Sarkodie being on your song to make you win the award, is because of Sarkodie that’s why Fancy won that award.”
Meanwhile Patapaa has released a new song titled Kumchacha which according to him the official dance will be released on Monday 23rd April 2018.
He further stated that Prophet Kumchacha is always talking about him (Patapaa) because he wants hype around the Patapaa Brand.
The latest song is dedicated to the prophet and it simply means if someone loves you reciprocate the same love.
