Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, well known as Fancy Gadam was warmly welcomed upon his return to Tamale
Tamale based hiplife artiste, Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam claims he is the only artist in Ghana with a loyal fan base.
Fancy Gadam won the award with his hit song ‘Total Cheat’, to the chagrin of Patapaa who was cocksure that his song ‘One Corner’ was the best and perhaps the only option for the category.
Speaking with SVTV CHAT host Abena Amankwah Afrifa, Fancy Gadam said his loyal fans voted for him to win in the song of the year category with his song “Total Cheat.”
“Everybody deserves to win but it’s about numbers, it’s about votes and who has loyal fan base and the whole Ghana I’m the only one who has a loyal fan base.” Fancy Gadam stated in an interview with SVTV Africa.
However, Patapaa in an interview on Monday morning revealed that he was very disappointed to the point that he couldn’t feel his legs anymore.
According to him, he had high hopes of winning in that category but unfortunately, Fancy Gadam cheated his way through.
Patapaa, unfortunately, left the 2018 VGMA’s disappointed as contrary to the outcome, he expected to win at least one of the awards.
