Alright, so some mischievous individuals are questioning whether Fancy Gadam, the pride of the north picking the award was not occasioned by what they term “total cheat” and they are trying to find out whether indeed he did pick up an award or not?
Yes indeed, he did win an award. He won not because people slept and woke up to realize all of the sudden that they cheated for him. But because those who ensured that he won, did so by staying awake and voting massively for him to win.
Clearly, most of those posing those questions via various posts on their walls is a tacit admissions that indeed, those of them who are shouting “total cheat” and seeking to insinuate that there was some kind of “total cheat” or underhand deal somewhere in favor of that exceptionally gifted music talent from the north, actually slept so deep that they forgot to cast their votes for their favorites.
These individuals have forgotten that one of the cardinal requirements for winning the award was for them to have lived up to their duties as supporters of their favourite contenders for the award, by voting well for them.
But not to sleep and wake up all of the sudden and begin to shout “total cheat” from rooftops.
These individuals should get it straight that the shout of total cheat here, total cheat there, cannot bring back the award from Tamale back to the nation’s capital. They should find a comfortable bed and sleep kraaaa or better still get closer to the nearest transformer and hug it for all we care.
