Happy Opoku-Kwarteng, elder sister of the late popular dancehall artist Ebony Reigns wore a broad smile during the finale funeral rite of her late sister on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the forecourt of State House.

Happy who looked sobber was seen smiling at the sight of popular Kumawood actors, Kwaku Manu and Sunsum as they shook hands with the families to bid farewell to the late dancehall artiste, Pricilla Opoku-Kwarteng.

A cross-section of Ghanaians including Ghanaian celebrities and politicians thronged the burial service over the weekend to pay their last respect to the dancehall artist. A tribute concert was organized by her management on Friday, March 23, at the Trade Fair Centre.

Ebony Reigns perished in a gory car accident when the Jeep she was riding in collided with a VIP bus coming from the opposite direction on the night of February 8 at Nyamebekyere in the Ahafo Ano South District in the Ashanti Region.

She was returning from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region, where she went to visit her mother. The ‘Maame Hwe’ hitmaker died with two others, her friend Franky and a military man identified as Lance Corporal Francis Atsu Vondee.

The final burial rites of Atsu, a former student of Sogakofe Senior High School was held on Saturday, March, 24, 2018 at Adidome Mafi in the Volta Region where he hails from.
