I’m indifferent to Rawlings’ criticisms – Hanna Tetteh

Former Foreign Affairs Minister Hanna Tetteh says she has pretty thick skin when it comes to the behaviour of the Founder of the NDC party, Jerry John Rawlings.

She’s  asked NDC supporters and members to remain calm notwithstanding the criticisms of the ex-military leader against his party-NDC.

On her part, for the fact that Mr. Rawlings remains as the Founder of the NDC party, supporters of the party must do well to respect him.

Mr. Rawlings addressing some NDC cadres and activists at a Town Hall meeting at the Arts Centre in Accra on Saturday, said he would have grabbed any chance to campaign against Hannah Tetteh who was then contesting the Awutu-Senya West constituency seat on the ticket of the NDC.

According to Mr. Rawlings, the former Foreign Affairs Minister showed disrespect to his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, by squeezing her hand during a handshake at an independence anniversary parade gathering.

Such he noted, is one out of several gross disrespect exhibited by the former Foreign Affairs Minister towards her wife at high profile events.

Ever since Mr. Rawlings brought the matter to the fore of the public, he has received some bashing from a cross section of the NDC fraternity.

But Miss Hanna Tetteh, reacting to the issue in a tweet by @NDCChangeAgenda admonished supporters not to be vexed with the founder’s criticisms against the party and members of the party as well.
