Inter Allies opened their 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season with an impressive performance and result as they whipped Bechem United 3-0 at the Tema Park on match day one.
The first half was boring as there wasn’t any major development to speak well of. But the second half was full of excitement as Inter Allies pressed the accelerator so well, hitting the back of the net three times with Nigerien striker, Victorien Adje Adebayor scoring a brace and the other goal by Dan Amanfor.
Dan Amanfor on the 51st minute mark, broke the virginity of the game with an audacious strike which the helpless Bechem United goalkeeper, had no response to.
The opener revitalised Inter Allies’ approach to the game. They followed up with the second goal seven minutes later through Victorien Adje Adebayor who will complete the demolition of Bechem United in the 71st minute with the third goal of the match.
Victorien Adje Adebayor’s breathtaking freekick and goal which compounded Bechem United’s problems remained the talk of the game when proceedings ended.
Inter Allies have thus given the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League a perfect start to what will surely be a fascinating and intriguing marathon by clubs.
