Akwaaba
A fresh vibe which will definitely be spanking on the streets has been submitted by this quartet. The quartet is made up of producer GuiltyBeatz, Mr Eazi, Patapaa and Pappy Kojo.
The song, titled Akwaaba which means welcome comes across as one of those records which may be lyrically sparse, but the instrumental alone will be sufficient to stimulate some spectacular bodily movements.
The verses dropped by the artistes heard on the track were not elaborate but as noted earlier, it is not a matter of necessity to confer lyrical density on such songs when the instrumental alone is potent enough to bang the streets.
One Corner hitmaker, Patapaa for instance employed about only 6 words for his verse but his contribution has already become a positive talking point by patrons of the song and they are immensely enjoying it.
Akwaaba is the debut single from DJ/producer GuiltyBeatz who is signed to Meister Music. Familiarity with GuiltyBeatz may stem from his production of Mr Eazi’s continental hit, Sample You.
