Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Catherine Afeku, has described the seeming tension between Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and his record label Zylofon media, as healthy competition.

At the champs bar last weekend, it was reported that Bulldog, who is Artiste and Repertoire Manager at Zylofon Media, allegedly attacked Stonebwoy and his crew who were holding a mini concert at the venue.

The altercation between the two resulted in the firing of gunshots which caused panic among guest gathered at the venue.

Stonebwoy later in an interview with King Lagazy on Hitz FM’s ‘Yaad Settingz’ admitted to firing the shots adding that he did in self-defence.

This development has sparked a social media conversation with many speaking against the acts by both parties.

In an interview with Joy News’ MzGee, Madam Afeku described the fracas between the ‘Baafira’ hitmaker and his record label, as healthy competition.

According to her, “I’ve been out of the Accra media brouhaha; I was in the village because of the elections for the constituencies, so I haven’t really followed.

“I only picked snippets of Bulldog and Stonebwoy so that was just a flash and nothing more. Its healthy competition so I don’t think it’s beyond the fraternity to resolve.”
