Alhaji Sannie, Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman of NDC
The Aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Mohammed Sannie has disciplined Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP over his ‘I will decide who become executives in NDC’ comment.
He has however, described the NPP’s regional party chairman as a serious joker.
The former Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) argues Chairman Wontumi widely known in politics is only portraying arrogance with his ‘childish’ comment which should not being giving any serious attention by NDC party members.
His comment on Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah comes few days after the Ashanti Regional NPP chairman vowed to decide for the opposition NDC, who become officers in the party from the constituencies to the national level.
Wontumi, told a gathering of NPP constituency executives at Agona in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency to advise the NDC to watch out for his influence during their internal elections slated for September.
He bragged his unnoticed influence on the top hierarchy and grassroots of the NDC contributed to the party’s abysmal showing at the 2016 general elections.
But Alhaji Sannie has equally blasted him over ’such childish comment’ saying ‘’Wontumi is a small boy, he’s such a joker who jokes more than Bob Okala”
‘’This boy has no respect no wonder he insulted Asare Asare Bediako who he sees as a serious threat in the upcoming regional elections’’.
He added ‘’who is Wontumi to decide for NDC as party, how dare him make such childish comment’’
