Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Mensa Otabil has urged the youth in the country to change their taste, preferences and attitude if they want to see a transformation in the country.
Touching on various reasons why Ghana and Africa seem to remain stuck in poverty whilst the rest of the world flourishes, Pastor Otabil said it was because there has been a general acceptance of inferior products and substandard services.
Speaking at the “2018 Springboard Global Convocation” held in Accra, the renowned pastor said it was up to the youth to demand for quality from their leaders, service providers and themselves.
“The fundamental problem we have as a country is our inability to change our taste, our inability to change what we desire. If the people receiving don’t mind what they receive, then the people giving won’t mind what they give.
You don’t need to work hard to please Ghanaians, every little effort is acceptable. We end up giving people who have done so little, titles they don’t deserve. Until our taste and standard change, the supply will never change.” He said
