As part of the efforts to empower women, as well as mark the International Women’s Day celebration, PamperDem GH an all men’ group hosted a number of women at their maiden ‘PamperDem Hangout’.
The ‘PamperDem Hangout’ which will now be a yearly programme, was hosted to celebrate women for their hard work and support in their various homes.
Speaking to Ghanaweb, the leader of the group, Mic Gizo of Hitz FM, PamperDem GH explained that the group is advocating for women empowerment and gender parity.
“PamperDem GH is all about women empowerment, it involves group of men that believes that if you empower women they will get to the same platform as men’’ he said.
“Women have been relegated to just cooking and being housewives but I think if we push them to aspire high they can compete with us(men) and do better”, he added.
At the ‘PamperDem Hangout’ women were given a memorable treat which includes makeup, massage, barbeque and other souvenirs.
Celebrities such as DKB, Dr Pounds, Ayesem, Patapaa and host of others were there to entertain the guests.
