The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt, says the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana National Buffer Stock Company, Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab, is an embarrassment to the current government.

Management of Ghana National Food Buffer Stock Company under the Free SHS programme has reportedly begun the retrieval of unwholesome flour distributed to some 119 Senior High Schools in the Ashanti region.

This action was necessitated after the company received complaints from matrons in some schools of a sour taste from meals prepared from the flour supplied to the schools.

According to reports, the company has retrieved the flour from about 20-30 schools out of the 119 senior high schools supplied with the flour.

The CEO for Buffer stock, Mr. Hanan Abdul-Wahab, however stated that those persons attacking him are the same people against the NPP’s flagship free SHS.

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive with Ekourba Gyasi Monday, Kwesi Pratt expressed his outmost displeasure in Mr. Hanna’s statement ,describing him as incompetent.

“The people of Ghana should be taken more seriously and public officials should stop this behavior. It is totally unacceptable. People like him are embarrassing the government due to their incompetence,” he said.
