Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS), Elvis Adjei Baah has called on all Ghanaians, especially football loving fans to rally behind Ghana’s two representative in Africa, Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko host Congolese side CARA FC on Sunday, February 11 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the CAF Confederation Cup whiles Aduana Stars also travel to Egypt to face Libyan giants El – Tahadi.
Speaking on Zylofon Sports on Zylofon FM. Adjei Baah asserted that the ministry is giving its unflinching support to the clubs to ensure .
“As a ministry we are also offering our utmost support to both teams for them to a make the nation proud. We hope that Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko will go far in the competition so that Ghana will regain the additional two slots which were lost due to our poor performances.”
Aduana Stars have landed in Egypt for the game while Kotoko’s opponents CARA FC have also landed in Ghana for their respective first leg clashes.
