The widow of the inspector spoke to Joy News and recounted the manner in which the News was broken to her by some officers from the police service.

Exactly a week after the infamous incident, the family of the departed officer held a memorial service for him.

Joy News reporter, Paa Kwesi Parker-Wilson reports senior officers of the police service joined the family to observe the service at his residence.

“Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ishmael Ashitey is also present at the memorial service,” Parker Wilson reported.

He added that the Minister donated GH¢ 500, 10 boxes of assorted drinks and 10 boxes of mineral water to the family to help alleviate the cost of the service.
