Leonard Owusu taking his MVP award
Captain of newly promoted Dreams Fc Leonard Owusu was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the just ended GHALCA G8 tournament after leading his team to the trophy.
The midfielder was Dreams FC’s talisman in their charge to the title, with his stellar performances throughout the competition making him a deserved winner of the award.
The inspiration skipper was again the shining light as he put up a Man of the Match display in the final on Sunday.
Leonard scored the match winning goal as the ‘still believe’ club came back from behind to beat Hearts of Oak by 2-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
He gets 1000ghc cash prize and several other products from the sponsors of the tournament.
