Retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice V.C.R.A.C Crabbe has praised President Akufo Addo’s choice of Mr Martin Amidu as the first Special Prosecutor of Ghana pending a parliamentary approval.

Justice Crabbe described the Citizen Vigilante as an honest person and a first class man, having worked under him previously.

He said this on Friday January 12 in an interview with Class FM’s Jerry Akonnor.

Mr Crabbe stated : “I worked under him when he was Attorney General, I can assure you, he is a very honest person.

“I don’t think he is going to be swayed by passion or embezzlement. He is going to do a first class job, because he is a first class man who believes in doing a first class job. I think he will do his job very well”.

President Akufo-Addo on Thursday, 11 January 2018, announced Mr Amidu as the Special Prosecutor, at the Flagstaff House.

The Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo, nominated Mr Amidu and his nomination was accepted by Nana Akufo-Addo.
