Today’s discussions on Newsfile centered on issues surrounding Akufo-Addo’s approval of the Special Prosecutor Bill and four others passed by parliament, a move that completes the legal requirement for the establishment of the Office of the Special Prosecutor following its passage by Parliament on November 14.

The back and forth in Parliament over Minority’s cash-for-seat allegations and issues regarding the resignation of 2nd Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Asiama also featured in today’s discussions.

The mandatory TV license fees and courts set up for the purposes of prosecuting offenders in that regard have been one major issue of discussion on social media and among the general public.

Panelists on today’s edition of the show, together with host Sampson Anyenini highlighted a some concerns being raised by Ghanaians as far as the issue of TV license is concerned, the fact that the monies will be channeled into funding for the State Broadcasting Coporation (GCB) among others.
