Care in that centre is gradually becoming more and more challenging for want of space and it\u2019s the reason we\u2019re crying out to get our 40-year-old maternity block to be completed just so that once the entire maternity wing is completed and cases are moved there it will create more spaces for us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re getting cases from all the regions across the country and to some extent from our neighbouring countries and so therefore when it comes to injuries and injury care, this centre becomes very prime in terms of the surgeries we do here and it\u2019s attracting patients at any point in time. So when we get such emergencies and they\u2019ve been tried and managed beyond emergency situation, we need to take them to the wards.<\/p>\n<p>When the wards are full, as the emergency area is always encumbered, that\u2019s not the way to care for emergency patients.
