{"id":450062,"date":"2017-12-25T19:13:39","date_gmt":"2017-12-25T19:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2017\/12\/25\/kumasi-mtn-honours-mobile-money-agents\/"},"modified":"2017-12-25T19:13:39","modified_gmt":"2017-12-25T19:13:39","slug":"kumasi-mtn-honours-mobile-money-agents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2017\/12\/25\/kumasi-mtn-honours-mobile-money-agents\/","title":{"rendered":"Kumasi: MTN honours Mobile Money Agents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"bsac bsac-clearfix bsac-post-top bsac-float-center bsac-align-center bsac-column-1\">\n<div id=\"bsac-277964-1161227754\" class=\"bsac-container bsac-type-image \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/WPAdBlock\" data-adid=\"277964\" data-type=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"bsac-image\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/top-banner-web-renault.jpg\" alt=\"Renault\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>More than 100 mobile money agents from some 214 businesses have been honoured by mobile telecom giant, MTN, for their continuous support and partnership with the service.<\/p>\n<p>The special event was to show MTN\u2019s appreciation to the mobile agents who operate in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Upper East, Upper West and Northern regions.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Ultimate Business on the sidelines of the awards night, General Manager, Mobile Financial Services at MTN Ghana, Eli Hini, expressed his outfit\u2019s delight about the coming into fruition of the rewards scheme, planned a couple of years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe whole idea is to show appreciation to our mobile agents and merchants for the support they have given to the service over the years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is something we\u2019ve been planning for the past two to three years and we\u2019re happy that we have been able to pull it through and we\u2019ll continue to reward our customers\u201d, he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Participants took home certificates, plaques and items including television sets, generators, rechargeable fans, Huawei smartphones, motorbikes and MTN branded souvenirs.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hini added: \u201cThe stage will be bigger next year because we think that they deserve it.
