Since then the rate has increased consistently to record 14.4 percent in November 2017,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the Mining and quarrying subsector recorded the highest inflation of 14.4 percent.<\/p>\n<p>This was followed by the Manufacturing and Utilities subsectors with 7.3 and 0.5 percent respectively.<\/p>\n<p>During the month of November, five out of the sixteen major groups in the manufacturing sub sector recorded inflation rates higher than the sector average of 7.3 percent.<\/p>\n<p>These include the manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products (27.7%); the manufacture of machinery and equipment (26.1%); manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (20.4%).<\/p>\n<p>Others are the manufacture of basic metals (14.4%) as well as the manufacture of furniture (11.5%).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the producer price inflation for petroleum subsector was -0.2 percent in November 2016.<\/p>\n<p>It has experienced mixed growth and in November 2017, it declined to 27.7% from the 36.9% recorded in October 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<\/p>\n<p><!-- uploaded by: 50 updated by: 50 --><\/p>\n<p><!-- Start of html generated by this->footer() -->\n<\/div>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style=\"display:none\" rel=\"follow\" href=\"http:\/\/megatheme.ir\/\" title=\"\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633\">\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business News of Thursday, 21 December 2017 Source: citifmonline.com 2017-12-21 Producer Price Index (PPI) is a weighted index of prices measured at the wholesale The Producer Price Inflation (PPI) for Ghana reached 7.1 percent in November 2017.
