{"id":431414,"date":"2017-10-23T15:36:38","date_gmt":"2017-10-23T15:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2017\/10\/23\/only-rapture-can-bring-you-back-to-npp-abronye-to-kwabena-agyapong\/"},"modified":"2017-10-23T15:36:38","modified_gmt":"2017-10-23T15:36:38","slug":"only-rapture-can-bring-you-back-to-npp-abronye-to-kwabena-agyapong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2017\/10\/23\/only-rapture-can-bring-you-back-to-npp-abronye-to-kwabena-agyapong\/","title":{"rendered":"Only rapture can bring you back to NPP \u2013 Abronye to Kwabena Agyapong"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adomonline.com\/ghana-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/510904242_237314.jpg\" data-caption=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"349\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/510904242_237314.jpg.pagespeed.ce.Du0Qbc5JBd.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Nana Addo and Kwabena Agyapong\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"2375385242\" onload=\"pagespeed.CriticalImages.checkImageForCriticality(this);\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The chances of suspended General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) returning to the party is becoming slim following stiff opposition mounted by some members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Kwabena Agyapong is hoping to be reinstated as General Secretary after nearly two years of his suspended by the NPP\u2019s National Executive Committee (NEC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">He together with suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko and second vice chairman, Sammy Crabbe was suspended from the party for engaging in acts deemed detrimental to the interest of the party.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The situation became murkier after a youth group petitioned the party leading to the suspension of the three.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">But after the NPP successfully won the 2016 general elections, the conduct of Mr. Agyapong according to another youth group of the party based in the Brong Ahafo region is enough to bring him back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">They cited how the suspended General Secretary contributed to the party and is also present at any party event as examples to warrant his reinstatement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">But on Asempa FM\u2019s Ekosii Sen programme Monday, the Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer of NPP, Kwame Baffoe vehemently disagrees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">He argued that Kwabena Agyapong has not shown remorse after moving heaven and earth to ensure the NPP loses the 2016 general elections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">\u201cThe petition to reinstate Kwabena Agyapong is dead on arrival; we don\u2019t need traitors in our party now that we are in power\u201d he stressed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Abronye DC as he is popular called said the only way Mr. Agyapong can return to the NPP is during rapture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">\u201cKwabena Agyapong should pray for Jesus to come because that is the only he can return to the NPP\u201d he stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style=\"display:none\" rel=\"follow\" href=\"http:\/\/megatheme.ir\/\" title=\"\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633\">\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0The chances of suspended General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) returning to the party is becoming slim following stiff opposition mounted by some members.
