{"id":431300,"date":"2017-10-23T08:52:09","date_gmt":"2017-10-23T08:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2017\/10\/23\/explosion-proof-cylinders-to-complement-new-lpg-distribution-module\/"},"modified":"2017-10-23T08:52:09","modified_gmt":"2017-10-23T08:52:09","slug":"explosion-proof-cylinders-to-complement-new-lpg-distribution-module","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2017\/10\/23\/explosion-proof-cylinders-to-complement-new-lpg-distribution-module\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Explosion proof\u2019 cylinders to complement new LPG distribution module"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company has been licensed by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA)\u00a0to retail Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as they prepare to produce what they describe as \u2018explosion proof\u2019 cylinders to support the Cylinder Recirculation Module.<\/p>\n<p>The Cylinder Recirculation Module was introduced by the government as part of measures to forestall gas explosions in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Board Chairman of the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company, Frank Boakye Agyen, told Joy News a mass sensitisation program will soon be rolled out to help address gas explosions at the domestic level.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/1002554\/Myjoyonline.com_InArticle_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur core mandate is to produce such cylinders that will be \u2018explode proof\u2019. Aside from that, there is the need to sensitise the Ghanaian. A whole lot of people are not going to be introduced to the use of cylinders. They have to be educated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWhen there is leakage how do you detect it?
