{"id":422772,"date":"2017-09-27T15:45:24","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T15:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2017\/09\/27\/woes-of-ssnit-deepen-as-it-discovers-more-errors-with-72m-software\/"},"modified":"2017-09-27T15:45:24","modified_gmt":"2017-09-27T15:45:24","slug":"woes-of-ssnit-deepen-as-it-discovers-more-errors-with-72m-software","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2017\/09\/27\/woes-of-ssnit-deepen-as-it-discovers-more-errors-with-72m-software\/","title":{"rendered":"Woes of SSNIT deepen as it discovers more errors with $72m software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) says it has discovered 10 more errors with its $72 million Operating Business Suite (OBS) in less than 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>This brings the number of issues with the system to 237, SSNIT IT Manager, Yaw Nimo revealed to Joy News\u2019 Daniel Dadzie.<\/p>\n<p>The IT Manager said the debit and credit component of the software does not work because instead of showing the difference in balance, it rather adds the figures.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/1002554\/Myjoyonline.com_InArticle_300x250 --><\/p>\n<p>Also, records of some organisations have been entered thrice, which means the employees will receive three their benefits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we are using it [OBS] with serious difficulties and our staff has to be diligent and careful otherwise we will overpay,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><b>Related:<\/b> <b>Controversial $72m SSNIT software working despite earlier claim<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There has been huge public disaffection for SSNIT after the\u00a0$72 million software scandal broke.<\/p>\n<p>The software was procured\u00a0to automate the\u00a0operations at the Trust.
