Amendment C\u2019tee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/F.F-Anto-475x267.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched\"> <\/aside>\n<p>The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) has inaugurated an 11-member ad-hoc committee that will oversee the party\u2019s constitutional amendments process.<\/p>\n<p>The Constitutional Amendment committee\u00a0was outdoored at a short ceremony at the party\u2019s headquarters on Thursday, September 14, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>According to the party, the Committee was approved by the National Council after it met yesterday, September 13 at Alisa Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a Press Conference at the party\u2019s headquarters to inaugurate the committee, Acting General Secretary, John Boadu said: \u201cThe committee\u2019s mandate, as noted earlier, is to streamline all the proposals for constitutional amendments and by that, determine the \u201csubstance and workability\u201d of each proposal and present their report, which shall be in the form of a draft constitution to national conference, through national council for consideration and adoption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Per the resolution of national conference, the ad-hoc committee has two months within which to present its final report to the party later at an\u00a0extraordinary conference to be held by mid-December.<\/p>\n<p>The committee is chaired by F.F. Antoh, the national vice chairman of the party. Other members of the special committee include;<\/p>\n<p>\uf0d8 Hon. O.B. Amoah \u2013 Secretary<br \/>\uf0d8 Joyce O. Boateng \u2013 Member<br \/>\uf0d8 Hon. Joseph Dindiok Kpemka \u2013 Member<br \/>\uf0d8 Godfred Yeboah Dame \u2013 Member<br \/>\uf0d8 Hackman Owusu Agyemang \u2013 Member<br \/>\uf0d8 Hon.
