We can already see this happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in an interview at Tamale in the Northern Region during the party\u2019s unity walk over the weekend, Mr. Kojo Bonsu stated: \u201cSince our defeat, we have witnessed division and bitter arguments about what went wrong and whom to blame.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/7161564295904_3877863351876.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"1738762181\" onload=\"pagespeed.CriticalImages.checkImageForCriticality(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI understand why people are angry. But the tone of the argument has, at times, been unattractive, counterproductive and even alarming,\u201d he observed.<\/p>\n<p>While conceding that the NDC is in a \u201cmess\u201d, the former Managing Director of Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) called for unity among the rank and file of the party that that suffered the biggest electoral defeat in its history.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn December, in spite of the best efforts of my friend, President John Mahama, our party lost an election we should have won. This isn\u2019t just bad news for the NDC. It\u2019s bad news for the people of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s because the NDC is the party that\u2019s on the side of the people of Ghana and not on the side of special, commercial interests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why we must rise to the challenge and return to winning ways, for the sake of the people of our nation,\u201d he appealed.<\/p>\n<p><b>Overwhelming participation<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the former Kumasi Mayor, a key member of the Unity Campaign Project of the NDC, has expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who joined the maiden Unity Walk in the Northern Region capital, Tamale on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been overwhelmed by the level of acceptance by all stakeholders and the rank and file of the Party to our campaign for a United NDC.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/4697148732840_6879123763905.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"2037767827\" onload=\"pagespeed.CriticalImages.checkImageForCriticality(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are exceedingly grateful to the National Chairman of the NDC, the General Secretary of the NDC, and the entire Functional Executives for endorsing our resolve to contribute to the healing process agenda of the party.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cThe thousands of supporters of the NDC who poured out on the street of Tamale for the Unity WALK is a manifestation of the resolve of the rank and file to see the party United \u2013 we thank them all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Greater Accra Region is the next stop of the NDC\u2019s Unity Walk, the organisers have announced.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/9599350846993_281904496045.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-pagespeed-url-hash=\"2990182117\" onload=\"pagespeed.CriticalImages.checkImageForCriticality(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style=\"display:none\" rel=\"follow\" href=\"http:\/\/megatheme.ir\/\" title=\"\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633\">\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NDC Former Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Kojo Bonsu says despite the seeming confusion that has rocked the National Democratic Congress (NDC), it remains the party on the side of the people Ghana.
