I have seen at least three (3) or four (4) generations of footballers and I can say that the quality of players we have currently cannot be compared to any of the past generations,” Raji told Happy FM.

In an attempt to outline the cause of this menace, the erstwhile Eleven Wise director slammed past governments and coaches of our various clubs as the cause.

“The bad economic standard, which has been the reason for frequent player transfers, is the cause because the few skilled players have to move out of the shores of Ghana for greener pastures. Moreover, the qualities of some of our coaches are very disgusting. If you are a coach and you can’t transform raw talents, then you are not a good coach. Our coaches have failed in polishing our talents into stardom.”

Courtesy of GHANAsoccernet.com – Ghana’s leading football news website.
