Dr. Gerald Odonkor (left)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"noPrint\">\n<div id=\"537626303\" style=\"width:300;height:250;margin:0;padding:0\">\n\t\t  <noscript><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" name=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" src=\"http:\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/afr?auid=537626303&amp;cb=149916385127052\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"><a href=\"\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/rc?cs=b2ad7fa7fd&amp;cb=149916385127052\">&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/1500282499_287_ai\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/iframe><\/noscript>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">The Kaneshie Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has held a church service in honour of the Chief Justice, Ms Justice Sophia Akuffo.<\/p>\n<p>During the service, a special prayer was offered for Ms Justice Akuffo, who began her national duties as the Chief Justice in June this year.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Justice Akuffo was appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the Chief Justice following the retirement of Mrs Justice Georgina Theodora Wood.<\/p>\n<p>The theme for the service was \u201cCalled to be sowers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Service to God<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Addressing the congregation, the District Minister in charge of the Kaneshie Congregation, Rev. Dr Gerald Odonkor, asked state officials, especially those occupying top positions, to perform their national duties as the calling of God for their lives.<\/p>\n<p>He said every leader, including state officials, ought to see their appointment as God\u2019s way of using them to bring a change that would glorify his works.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are called to add value to whatever work you are doing. You must see your life as a seed you sow into the environment you find yourself in,\u201d Rev. Dr Odonkor said.<\/p>\n<p><b>God\u2019s trophy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Rev. Dr Odonkor said every Christian had been given a seed to sow in any environment or place they found themselves.<\/p>\n<p>In that regard, he said a Christian must let \u201chis or her life become a trophy of display that God can use to draw others into his fold.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou must let your life reflect the character and personality of God. You must not live anyhow and still expect God to demonstrate his power and grace through you,\u201d Rev. Odonkor said.<\/p>\n<p>Touching on the entire Judicial Service, he said people called to serve in that capacity must allow God to use them to bring change and growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou must be able to show mercy when necessary and also demonstrate justice when the need arises,\u201d Rev. Odonkor said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that every Christian represented God on earth and that they must live a life that would bring honour and glory to his name.<\/p>\n<p>Rev.
