A 12-year-old boy has allegedly robbed and killed his landlady at Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State. According to the boy, he committed the act because a cult group told him that one of the conditions for initiation was that he must have been involved in a criminal act.<\/p>\n

The teenage was among suspects paraded yesterday for various offences by the state Police Command.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Zanna Mohammed, told reporters that over 60 kidnappers, robbers, murderers, cultists and ritualists have been arrested in the last three weeks.<\/p>\n

He said that the teenager confessed that he committed the act because a cult group told him that one of the conditions for initiation was that he must have been involved in a criminal act.<\/p>\n

Ibrahim further disclosed that one of the kidnap suspects, Sa\u2019adu Alhaji, a national of Niger Republic, residing at Okpanma community, Oshimili North Local Government Area, was arrested by the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cyber Crime Squad, SAKCCS, in conjunction with men of Eagle Vigilante groups of Abraka Market, Asaba, over his complicity in most kidnap cases within Asaba and its environs.<\/p>\n

According to him, the suspect was connected to the kidnapping syndicates operated by suspected herdsmen and an ally of Musa Mohammed, alias Musa 1000, earlier arrested by the police.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
