A group of over\u00a0500 sledders at a ski resort in Austria set a new world record for the longest chain of sleds.<\/p>\n

Bramberg Tourist Office and Waldkogel Mountain Railways gathered 508 sleds at Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen ski resort in Bramberg to claim the Guinness World Record for \u201cLongest chain of sleds.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The line of sleds stretched about 2,460 feet as the group traveled down a slope while keeping all 508 sleds connected throughout the trip.<\/p>\n

Managers of Waldkogel Mountain Railways Rudolf Gostl and Bernhard Gruber were proud of the achievement which vastly exceeded the previous record of 50 sleds.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cThe organizational effort was worthwhile,\u201d they said. \u201cWe are proud and delighted to have achieved the world record title in the Wildkogel Arena\u2026a really sensational event!\u201d<\/p>\n
