President Akufo-Addo Receiving Cheers at Kwahu

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the weekend joined the residents and revelers of Kwahu in the Eastern Region to celebrate the Easter festivities.

Nana Akufo Addo last Saturday attended separate durbars where he interacted with residents and also gave thanks to them for voting massively for him and the New Patriotic Party in the 2016 general election.

The president, who has been celebrating the Easter with the Kwahus every year, addressed the Fulani menace, corruption, galamsey (illegal mining), d his government’s promise to fix the economy and the creating of jobs for the teeming unemployed youth

Thousands of revelers from all walks of life over the weekend went to the Kwahu Ridge for the Easter celebration.

As compared to last year, there were a lot of activities at places like Obomeng, Obo, Mpraeso, Nkwatia and Abetifi.

Almost all beverage producers had one sort of promotion or another to draw the attention of more customers.

As a result, even those who did not have money to buy expensive drinks enjoyed various brands of alcoholic beverages.

The merrymaking on the mountain started from Friday evening when hundreds of the revelers made a lot of fun throughout the night.

Security was tight everywhere as the regional police command deployed about 420 officers to maintain law and order and protect lives and properties.
