Police Assault34Mohammed Amin Adam Anta has threatened to join militant group, ISIS if not reinstated immediately

The dismissed bodyguard of the Deputy Minister for Energy, Mohammed Amin Adam Anta has threatened to join militant group, ISIS if he is not immediately reinstated into the police service.

Lance Corporal Dickson Ankomah who was a bodyguard to Anta while he was the Metropolitan Chief Executive(MCE) for Tamale, was dismissed from the service over alleged misconduct after knocking down a pedestrian with the Police dispatch motor bike one day on his way from Nkawkaw to Kumasi at a spot near Yawkwei community.

According to him, an investigative team was constituted and found him guilty of service breaches and therefore recommended his sack which was done in 2008 and all attempts coupled with petitions to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for his reinstatement proved futile.

“If someone approaches me with money I will not hesitate to execute his agenda, even if it is ISIS because I am suffering. I don’t even have a place to sleep” he told Isaac Nsiah Foster of Kumasi-based Otec FM.

The embattled Cop wants the IGP Mr. David Asante Appeatu and Interior Minister Ambrose P Dery to intervene and ensure that he is given a fair hearing in the matter or he will be compelled to pursue his dreams.

A livid Lance Corporal Dickson Ankomah bemoaned how his legal representation abandoned him when he tried using legal processes in addressing his grievances.
