Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister says she is yet to come to terms with the reality that Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA is no more.

Catherine Afeku says the late presenter was like an angel, a brother, and a friend to her and will miss him dearly.

“We have to let the world know we have lost a gem. I called him an angel, he came to visit us and left us,” she said after signing the Book of Condolence.

“I feel like I have lost a part of me… he is one and part of all of us, you couldn’t go through the day without tuning into Ekosii Sen…he’s been become like a DNA,” Madam Afeku grieved.

The sector Minister revealed that “for those of us in the industry…he was always encouraging, calling come on the show, work with us…I feel like I have lost a true friend.”

KABA, 37, left behind his wife, Valentina Ofori Agyei, also a broadcaster with Accra-based Class FM and a seven-month-old daughter.

On behalf of the Ministry, “our deepest sympathies go the mum, the wife and the little baby girl. Our hearts are with the family.”
