Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry International, Nicholas Osei popularly known as Kumchacha is calling for the immediate arrest of Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Dr Mensa Otabil.
According to him, the renowned preacher has defrauded his church members after urging them to offer various sums of money for special prayers.
“Pastor Mensah Otabil and his Nigerian friend, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo are only doing business and not doing the work of God. How can you ask your followers to donate offerings as high as $5,000? Is it now a business venture or a house of God” he quizzed.
Kumchacha maintained that, the action of Pastor Otabil together with colleague Nigerian Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo at the 2017 edition of ‘Greater Works’ is not from God.
Prophet Kumchacha imagined how they would have been subjected to vitriolic attacks if they demanded such colossal sums of money from their followers.
“I’m sure Ghanaians will have beaten us to death if it were me or Obinim asking our followers to donate such huge amount of money. Why then should we allow these people to go scot-free? No we can’t and therefore they need to be arrested” he charged
Prophet Kumchacha also called for the immediate arrest of the ICGC leader to serve as a deterrent to others.
“We men of God aren’t God to tell you that when you give offering you will get the result that same day, we’re not God… So what if it doesn’t happen then you’ve become a liar. They are just using 419 to defraud their members” he stressed.
