Gospel musician Joyce Blessing has stated that her hard work and talent have raised her to the stardom she is enjoying now.

According to the ‘Heavy Price’ hit maker, a good product needs a little marketing.

She confirmed that Mr Ernest Kwesi Ennin contributed to her success but he did not pick her up from the gutters as many perceive.

On ‘Delay Show’ last Sunday on GHone TV, she said, “I do acknowledge my former manager (Kwesi Ernest) anytime I get the chance but both [of us] struggled to make this possible so I don’t see why he should take all the credit. Before I met him, I had recorded a full album of my songs and had shot some videos. I am talented and that has brought me this far.

Joyce also revealed that there was no contract signed but hard work pays so the privileges she enjoyed under Media Excel Production were due to her talent and hard work.

Mrs Blessing was signed in a four-year deal to Zylofon Media, a creative arts and entertainment company, on June 28, 2017.

She has hit songs like ‘Nyame Egwamaa’, ‘Monko Mo Akyi’, ‘Menka Nkyere Obia’, ‘Kantamanto’ and currently promoting ‘Boot for Boot’,’Agyebum’, ‘Wobe Te Pe’ and ‘The Lord’s Prayer.’
