Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has welcomed a call from Reggae and Dancehall recording artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, known by stage name Samini to do a collaboration with him.

Speaking on Joy FM last Friday, the ‘Odo’ hit maker said he would love to collaborate with Shatta Wale to portray the peace Ghana needs as a country with regards to musical feuds.

He explained that, after years of a never-ending beef, Shatta Wale did apologize and set a mark that will forever remain in his memory lane.

“I will sing along with him [Shatta Wale]. He surprised me. He apologised to me. Showing up on my set [Saminifest], that was a surprise. He did make a mark and it helped the street calm down,” he said.

Responding to the challenge on Adom FM’s ‘Kasahari Level’ on Saturday which was hosted by Dr Duncan, the ‘Ayoo’ hit maker revealed he would have an exclusive meeting with Samini the moment he returns from his USA tour.

The meeting, he said, is to discuss the upcoming collaboration which would throw more light on the need for unity between Ghanaian artistes.

He added that he sees the music industry as more of a business than entertainment hence the need for artistes to support each other regardless the misunderstandings.

“I love Samini and his music. And I know he is a fighter.  I am ever ready to collaborate with him. I have a meeting with him and we need to show the love. I am ready for everything. I do this as business with regards to the career. Let us love ourselves, and when we do that everything in the industry will hold…” he told Dr Duncan.

Shatta Wale further advised upcoming artistes across the country to make the industry their “focal point in the industry and get smart, focused and business-minded to be successful.”

He also advised young and upcoming artistes to refrain from taking things personal in the showbiz industry.

“We should not take things personal. I speak my mind. I don’t take things personal. People should take it us business. People misunderstand me but I am up for it. Let’s support each other…” he maintained.

Shatta Wale further thanked host Dr Duncan for the unrelenting support from the beginning of his career till date
